Timberwolves Stay Alive in NBA Playoffs, Beat Nuggets 115-70
Denver Leads Series 3-2 Heading into Game 7
Jokic Scores 40 as Edwards Held in Check
The Minnesota Timberwolves kept their NBA playoff hopes alive on Tuesday night, defeating the Denver Nuggets 115-70 in a dominant Game 6 performance.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with 40 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Minnesota's balanced attack. Anthony Edwards was held to just 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting.
The Timberwolves will now head to Denver for a win-or-go-home Game 7 on Sunday night. The winner will advance to the Western Conference Finals to face either the Phoenix Suns or Dallas Mavericks.
