The Indiana Pacers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 142-130 on Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Pascal Siakam led the way for the Pacers with 36 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrese Haliburton added 26 points and 10 assists, while Jalen Smith contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds.
The Pacers led by just four points at halftime, but they blew the game open in the third quarter with a 47-point outburst. They shot 60% from the field in the quarter, including 8-of-15 from three-point range. Siakam was unstoppable in the third, scoring 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
The Bucks never recovered from the Pacers' third-quarter run. They trailed by as many as 23 points in the fourth quarter before cutting the deficit to 12 with just over two minutes remaining. However, the Pacers held on for the win.
The Pacers are now 2-1 on the season, while the Bucks are 1-2. The Pacers will host the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night, while the Bucks will travel to face the Philadelphia 76ers.
